Pearl Ethel Geesaman was born on 28 January 1889 in Peru, Chautaugua, Kansas. She and Melville Eugenious (M.e.) (Mellie) Watkinson were married on 14 March 1907.1 She and Roscoe Taylor were married in February 1964.1 She died on 24 April 1982, at age 93, in Sedro-Woolley, Skagit, Washington. She was buried in Bow Cemetery (Lot 7, Block 8, Grave N 1/2 SW 1/4) Skagit, Washington.
PEARL E. (WATKINSON) TAYLOR

Pearl E. (Watkinson) Taylor, 93, former
Skagit and Chelan County resident, died
Saturday April 24, 1982, at United
General Hospital.
She was born January 28, 1889, in Peru,
Kansas, a daughter of Skagit County
pioneers William and Anne Geesaman. She
came with her parents to this area in the
spring of 1890.
Her marriage to Melville E. Watkinson
took place March 14, 1907, at Allen. Mr.
Watkinson died in 1961.
She was united in marriage to Roscoe
Taylor in February, 1964. Mr. Taylor
died October 7, 1964.
Mrs. Taylor was a charter member of the
Allen United Methodist Church.
She had resided in the Edison area and in
1916 moved to Manson in Chelan County.
For many hears she resided in Wenatchee
and for a short time returned to Skagit
County in 1958 Her retirement years were
then spent in Wenatchee.
Surviving are one daughter, one son, six
grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two
great-great grandchildren, two step-
daughters, two step-sons, one daugther-in-
law, four sisters-in-law, one brother-in-
law and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son,
Melbourne Watkinson, and one sister,
Florence Egbert.
Funeral services were held Tuesday,
April 27, at the Hulbush Chapel.
Interment was in the family plot of the Bow
Cemetery.

Alice O. Watkinson, age 94, life-long resident of Burlington, died Sunday, December 28, 2003 at Mira Vista Care Center in Mount Vernon.

Born April 13, 1909 in Burlington; she was the daughter of Pete and Ivy Anderson.

She graduated from Burlington High School in 1927.

After graduation she was united in marriage to Ken Watkinson on September 9, 1927 in Burlington.

She was active in the schools at Bow as PTA member, president of the school board, and a member of the Allen-Blanchard United Methodist Church.

Her hobbies and interests included needlepoint, playing of the organ and piano, decorating her home, charter member of the Garden Club, and volunteering for the hospital guild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; and one brother, Donald Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Allen-Blanchard United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 3, 2004.

Rosalie Watkinson was born on 30 August 1917 in Manson, Chelan, Washington.1 She and Howard C. Bell were married on 3 April 1937 in Chelan County, Washington.2 She died on 11 October 2009, at age 92, in Tacoma County, Washington.1,2 She was buried in Green Hills Memorial Cemetery, Burlington, Skagit, Washiington.1
Rosalie Watkinson was a LPN in Northern State Hospital.2 She was educated in Skagit Valley College.2 Rosalie W. Bell, 92, of Burlington, passed away on October 11, 2009 at the Village Retirement Center in Tacoma, Washington, where she had resided since 2001.

She was born August 30, 1917 in Manson, WA, to M.E. "Mellie" and Pearl Geesaman Watkinson.

In 1936, she graduated as valedictorian of Manson High School.

Her marriage to Howard C. Bell took place April 3, 1937, in Chelan. They resided in Manson, until moving to Burlington in 1947.

In the 1950's she became employed at Northern State Hospital after receiving her LPN degree at Skagit Valley College.

She was a member of the Burlington Methodist Church; and the Skagit Art Association.

Her hobbies included oil painting, designing dolls, salmon fishing, and traveling with her family.

She is survived by son, David Bell, Sky Valley, CA; daughter, Rosanne West, Tacoma; a niece that had made her home with the Bell's, Renee Bell Schooler, Burlington; four granddaughters, Malia, Delaine, Janine, and Danielle; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; infant son, Dennis Bell; and two brothers, Kenneth and Melbourne Watkinson.

Memorials are suggested to the Allan Methodist Church, or Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care, PO Box 1502, Tacoma,WA 98401.

Graveside services are to be held Monday, October 26 at 11AM at the Burlington Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Hulbush Funeral Home, Burlington.
