Anne McKibbin was born on 31 July 1868 in Tipton, Cedar, Iowa.1 She died on 8 January 1959, at age 90, in Burlington, Skagit, Washington.2 She was buried in Bow Cemetery, Bow, Skagit, Washington.2
Mrs. Anne Geesaman,90, a pioneer
resident of the Allen community, died
early this morning at the home of her
granddaughter, Mrs. Harold Bell of
Burlington.
She was born July 31, 1868 in Tipton,
Ia, and spent her girlhood in Kansas.
On April 5, 1888, she married William
Geesaman and the family came west in a
covered wagon in 1891. They took a
homestead about one mile west of Allen.
Mrs. Geesaman was a charter member of the
Allen Methodist Church and a member of
the Rebekah Lodge in Burlington.
About five years ago she moved to
Wenatchee, returning here in September.
She was preceded in death by her
husband and a daughter, Mrs. Florence
Egbert.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs.
M. E. Watkinson of Wenatchee, three
grandchildren. Also surviving are
six great-grandchildren and three great-
great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at
2 p.m. Saturday at the Hulbush Funeral
Home with interment in the Bow Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph McKibbin, 51, lifelong Plymouth County resident who died Sunday at a Lemars hospital after a lingering sickness were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kingsley Methodist Church.

Rev. Everett B. Major officiated and burial was in Lincoln Township Cemetery under direction of the Dickinson Funeral Home, Kingsley.

Mrs. McKibbin was born in Lincoln Township on November 12, 1905 and was married to Mr. McKibbin at Lemars February 4, 1924. The couple had resided on a farm in Lincoln Township since their marriage. Mrs. McKibbin was a member of Plymouth Star Rebekah Lodge here.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Verle, serving with the Air Force in Scotland, and Jimmie of Kingsley; a sister, Mrs. Jim Gardner of Drewsey Oregon, and six grandchildren.
