2 Franklin R. Clodi, 86, of Bonfield, died Sunday (March 15, 1998) at Provena St. Mary's Hospital, Kankakee.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Homes, with a 6 p.m. wake service.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Charles Wheeler will officiate.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Bourbonnais.
Memorials may be made for Masses.
He was born Jan. 8, 1912, in Herscher, the son of Albert and Clara Dittus Clodi.
Surviving are his wife, the former Dolores Styck, whom he married March 26, 1940, at Sacred Heart Church, Goodrich; one son and daughter-in-law, one daughter, four grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Opal St. Germaine and Salome Dalton; and three brothers, Elmo, Voyal and Louis Clodi.
Mr. Clodi was a lifelong farmer and was a part-time employee of Bradley Roper Corp. for a number of years.
He was a member of the Kankakee County Farm Bureau.
