Mr Styck was born Feb. 3, 1894 in Rockville Township to Mr. and Mrs William Styck. He was married Jan 6, 1913, at Kankakee to Grace Goodrich, who survives.
Also surviving are sons, Everette of Reddick, Clifford of Kankakee, Raymond of Lansing, Kenneth of Kankakee and Robert of Foosland; daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Lucille) Cappelen of Boca Raton, Fla., Mrs. Franklin (Delores Clodi of Bonfield, Mrs. Frank (Doreen ) Buza of Bonfield; Mrs. Robert (Nelda) Cappelen of Des Plaines, and Mrs. Wesley (Carol) Mullett of Bourbonnais; sisters Mrs. Fred (Florence) Bevan of Kankakee, Mrs. Benjamin (Jeanette) Laube of Kankakee and Mildred Lindbloom of Milwaukee, Wis., 28 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from the Hertz-Thoma Chapel, the Rev. John

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Glen Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Calumet Region and to St. John Lutheran Church in Lansing.
He was born Nov. 14, 1918 in Kankakee, the son of Peter and Grace Goodrich Styck.

Surviving are a son, William "Bud" Stokes of Kankakee; four daughters, Penny Conn and Candy Davis, both of Elizabethtown, Warreena Barnard of Slaughters, Ky., and Janis Reed of Carterville; his mother, Grace Styck of Kankakee; one brother, Robert Styck of Kankakee; five sisters, Lucille Coppelan of Florida, Doreen Buza of Bonfield, Delores Clodi of Herscher, Carol Mullett of Bourbonnais and Nelda Coppelan of Des Plaines; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers. His father was Peter Styck.
There will be no funeral. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Cox Funeral Home.

(Carlos) Calderon, San Jose, Calif.; Robert O. (Kayla) Styck, Brazil, Ind.; Tim (Heather) Lantz, Paxton; Chad Lantz, Nathan Lee Styck and Ethan Tyler Styck, all of Gibson City; three great-grandchildren, Robert Thomas Styck, Keegan Timothy Lantz and Kirra Karlene Lantz; five sisters, Lucille Cappelan, Florida; Delores Clodi, Herscher; Nelda Cappelan, Des Plaines; Doreen Buza, Bondfield; and Carol Mullett, Bourbonnais.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
Mr. Styck lived in Gibson City since 1969; he was formerly of Kankakee.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of American Legion Post 568, VFW Post 6289; Elliott Amvets Post 0276 and Gibson City Masonic Lodge 733 AF & AM.
He was one of three men who started the Bondfield Lions Club.
He loved farm work, mostly the people he worked for: the Tjardes boys and Jim Piper were more like family to him than employers. Robert never met a person he didn't like.
