Jean Doris Goddard was born on 10 March 1920 in Sioux Falls, Minnehaha, South Dakota.^1,3,2 She and Harold Clarence Frederick Reinking were married in 1938 in Iowa.^4,1 She and Walter Hans Edward Ploen were married on 26 November 1971 in Moville, Woodbury, Iowa.⁴ She and William (Bill) Duncan Hardie were married in 1985.⁵ She died on 13 January 2002, at age 81, in Kingsley, Plymouth, Iowa.³ She was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Pierson, Woodbury, Iowa.
