He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Anna (Rebich) Roe, of Endwell, his children; Mary Ellen (Robert) Steiner of Auburn, NY, Patricia Sweeney of Binghamton, Thomas (Kathy) Roe of Hallstead, PA, Jennifer ( Barry) Gould of Tuscaloosa, AL, his grandchildren; Stephanie, Shannon, Michael, Bobby, Brittnee, Ashley, Abigail, Adam, Alexander, Nicholas and Zachary, 8 great-grandchildren, his sisters Beatrice Tross and Betty Ruth Williams, brothers William and Frederick Roe, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Nettie (Meade) Roe, sisters Arlene Decker, Lillian Hall and Beverly Lawrence and brothers Leonard, Jr., Raymond and Robert Roe.

Donald served in the U.S. Merchant Marine and Coast Guard during WWII. He enjoyed a long career in the home fuel and oil business having worked for many years at Savory Oil and Mirabito Fuel group where he worked until his retirement. He was a 60 year Mason and Past Master of Canawacta Lodge 360 in Susquehanna, PA. He was also a former member of Kalurah Shriners and the Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F) Lodge in Susquehanna. For many years he and his family operated the produce stand in Hickory Grove, PA. He e njoyed eating at Bud's Place in Apalachin and The Little Venice in Binghamton. He was a generous and devoted father. He was a member of the Conklin Presbyterian Church. Don's family expresses their deep appreciation to all those who thought of and visited Don, especially Helen, Carlton, and Kathy.

Robert R. Roe, 69, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away Thursday evening, June 24, 2010, at Wilson Hospital. Robert was born in Susquehanna, PA, the son of the late Leonard and Nettie Roe. He was predeceased by his two brothers Leonard Jr. and Raymond; and three sisters Arlene, Lillian, and Beverly.

Robert was survived by a son Robert Gulley; three daughters, Genny Gulley, Tammy Roe Osterhout, and Julie Kreb; two sisters Beatrice, and Betty Ruth; three brothers Donald, William, and Frederick; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends, Pat Gulley, Bud Frisbee, Wayne Heath and many more.

Robert was employed at several places throughout the Southern Tier and Susquehanna, PA. He served in the United States Army in Germany and was honorably discharged. He enjoyed fishing, going to auctions, and mainly just tinkering around.

Lillian F. Hall, 73, of Westfall Ave., Oakland, Pa., passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at the Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, Pa., after an illness. She was born in Susquehanna, the daughter of the late Leonard and Nettie (Meade) Roe. She was predeceased by her husband, Duane Hall in 1980; and son, Lynn Hall in 1977. Lillian is survived by two sons, Carl Hall and Brian Hall, both of Oakland; one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Homer Ferrante III, RR#3, Susquehanna; one stepdaughter, Sherry Hall, Scranton, Pa.; five brothers, Robert Roe, Raymond Roe, Donald Roe, Fred Roe, William Roe; three sisters, Beatrice Tross, Beverly Lawrence, Betty Williams; two grandchildren, Brandon Ferrante, and Briana Ferrante; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Susquehanna.

The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 8th, at 3 p.m. at the Hennessey's Funeral Home, 208 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, with Rev. Kenneth Bitler officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, Pa..

Beverly Lawrence, 72, Oakland, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 1, 2007, with her family present, following an illness.

She was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Nettie Roe; brother, Leonard Roe; two sisters, Arlene Decker, Lillian Hall.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 50 years, William Lawrence; daughters, Debby Frye, Barb and Louie Stone, Chris Breese and Phil Baldwin; son, William and Kristen Lawrence; seven grandchildren, Shawn Venesky, Danielle Stone and Rich Ainey, Andrea Venesky, Ben Frye, Deanna Stone, Devin Breese and Will Lawrence (her little guy); one great-granddaughter , Katelyn Ainey (her doll baby); five brothers, Donald, William, Robert , Raymond and Frederick Roe; two sisters, Beatrice Tross, Betty William s.

She was a member of St. John's Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. Beverly lived for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 5 at Hennessey's Funeral Home, Susquehanna, and at St. John's Church with the Rev. Robert Simon officiating. Burial, St. John's Cemetery, Susquehanna. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Church Men's Club, Susquehanna; or the Susquehanna Fire Department, Susquehanna.

The family would like to thank the Susquehanna Fire Department for their quick response and compassionate care. Also, Father Bob Simon for his caring support throughout her illness.
