Mrs. Martha Meade, highly esteemed Oakland resident, passed away at her home on Monday eveneing at 9:30 o'clock following a long illness.

She was the widow of William Meade, well known Oakland resident, and was the mother of a large family.

The following children survive: Earnest and George Meade, Buffalo; Floyd and Harry Meade, Hornell; Mrs. Lena Tredennick, Buffalo; Mrs. Harry Stringer, Rock Rift, N.Y. and Mrs. Lena Roe, Oakland.

Funeral services will be held at the Meade home on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in McKune cemetery.
