Born in and formerly of Lansdale, he had lived in Marmora, NJ before moving to Cape May Court House 16 months ago.
Mr. Cash was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army Air Force. He received his Bachelors Degree from Penn State, and his Master's degree from Temple University.
He was a Biology Teacher for Bensalem School District in Bensalem, for 35 years before his retirement in 1986. Mr. Cash served as Science Department Head and was a former Teacher of the Year.
Mr. Cash was the former owner and operator of Ardent Nurseries in Lansdale.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church in Cape May Court House, NJ and a former member of Church of The Resurrection in Marmora, NJ where he belonged to the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, June S. Cash (nee Stauffer) of Cape May Court House, NJ; seven children, Robin Cash of Howard, OH, Michael Cash of Langhorne, Robert Christian Cash of Howes Cave, NY, Timothy Cash of Lawrenceville, NJ, Scott Cash of Williamsburg, VA, Holly Rae Cash of Gilbertsville, and Heidi June Cash of Denver, CO; one brother, Raymond Cash of Telford; two sisters, Laura Kehler of Kulpsville and Pauline Schafer of Telford; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; and a cousin, Donald Stauffer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday morning Feb. 5, at 11AM from The Church of the Resurrection, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
