MERIDIAN, Idaho - The Lord released Ronnie Allen Campbell into peace on April 3, 2004, at his home in Meridian.

He was the beloved son of Vern R. Campbell and Opal M. Campbell. He was born in Anaconda and spent a wonderful childhood living at the state fish hatchery in Arlee, where his family lived and father worked for 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his father Vern R. Campbell and is survived by his mother Opal M. Campbell, brother Kirby K. Campbell and sister-in-law Levonne Campbell. Ron has two sons, Chris Campbell and Bryan Campbell, both of Boise, Idaho.

Ron attended Arlee grade school and high school. He completed a course in computer programming at the vocational technical center in Missoula. He worked for the state of Idaho as a computer programmer.

He enjoyed skiing, fly fishing, cooking and traveling.

A graveside memorial service is planned at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at the Holt Cemetery next to the Little Brown Church north of Bigfork.
