Charles Milton Wintermute, 84, died June 24, 2006, at Indian River Memorial Hospital in Vero Beach.
He was born in Oldwick, N.J., and moved to Wabasso in 1958 from Princeton, N.J.
He worked in the maintenance department for the Indian River School Board for 26 years.
He was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church in Wabasso and a current member of Roseland United Methodist Church in Roseland.
He was a past master and member of the Hibiscus Grange 201, Fellsmere, a past master of the Vero Grange and Riverside Pomona Grange 3, and a past member of the Florida State Grange Executive Committee.
Survivors include a son, Bill Pryor of Port Orange; daughters, Ann Jones of Grant and Joan Campbell of McDonough, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wintermute.
The funeral was June 28 in the Strunk Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Gary Isner officiating. Burial was in Sebastian Cemetery.

Betty Edwina Wintermute, 80, of Wabasso, died Dec. 29, 2003, at Indian River Memorial Hospital, Vero Beach, after a prolonged illness.
She was born Feb. 24, 1923, in Stirling, N.J., and moved to Wabasso in 1950 from Iselin, N.J.
Mrs. Wintermute was a homemaker. She was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church, Wabasso, a member of Roseland United Methodist Church, Roseland; and was a former president of the United Methodist Women, Melbourne District. She was a former member of the Grange in Vero Beach and was a member of the Hibiscus Grange of Fellsmere, where she served as secretary. She was chairperson of the Election Board in Wabasso for more than 20 years.
Survivors are her husband of 40 years, Charles; one son, Bill Pyror, of Port Orange; two daughters, Ann Jones, of Grant, and Joan Campbell, of McDonough, Ga.; one sister, Janet Krieger, of Wabasso; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: The funeral was held Dec. 31 at Strunk Funeral Home chapel, Sebastian. Interment was in Sebastian Cemetery, Sebastian.

Frances O. Zaricky, 78, of Sebastian, died Jan. 11, 2004, at her residence, after a prolonged illness.
Mrs. Zaricky was born Feb. 12, 1925, in Archer, and moved to Sebastian 20 years ago, from Topeka, Kan.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, John; one son, John C. Zaricky III, of Lawrence, Kan.; one daughter, Sharon Anderson, of Tampa; one sister, Ethelda Arnold, of Brooksville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1111 36th St., Vero Beach, Fla. 32960.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Sebastian.

ST. PETERSBURG,Fla. - Mitzie Wintermute went home to her Lord on Jan. 31, 2012 in St. Petersburg. Mitzie was born in Newark on July 25, 1913 and formerly lived with her husband, Russell on the Wintermute Farm in Oldwick for many years. She also lived in Lebanon, Bonita Springs, Fla. and lastly St. Petersburg. She was an avid flower gardener
and loved to travel about the world. Mitzie took her last hot-air balloon ride at 95 years old. She recently rededicated herself to her Lord by being baptized in the Gulf of Mexico.
Her husband of 27 years, Russell E. Wintermute, passed in 1975.
Mitzie and Russell raised two boys, William R. Wintermute of Pittstown and David A. Wintermute of Annandale. She is survived by Bill and his wife Judy, their daughter, Susan and Peter Valla, their children, Claire and Joey, their son, Scott and Lynn Wintermute, their children, Jaeden and Russell, David and his wife Joanne, their daughter, Robin and Gary Heinrich, their children Gordon, Trevor, Grace, and Joshua, another daughter, Pam and Jay Goff, their children, Charlotte, Henry, and Charlie, their son Tim and Penny Wintermute and their children, Paige, Gillian and Shane.
Services: Memorial service was held in Mitzie's memory in St. Petersburg and she will rest beside her husband in the Oldwick Cemetery. Donations in memory can be made to Westminster Suncoast Scholarship Fund, 6909 Dr. MLK Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33705.
