CONVOY - Mrs. Lillie W. Stump, 90, formerly of Convoy, died Sunday morning at St. Anthony's Hospital in Columbus.

A native of Attica, she was the first woman student of the College of Agriculture at Ohio State University.

Survivors include two sons, Ford L. of North Kingston Town, R.I., and Dale W. of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. O. M. (June) McClelland of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. R. S. (Fern) Baumgartner of Archibold; a sister, Mrs. Jefferson (Fay) Thompson of Monroe; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the H. D. Smith Funeral Home with Rev. William Covert officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery at Van Wert.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.

Margaret J. Gaddis, nee Carson, was born November 26, 1841, and died June 8, 1917, aged 75 years, 6 months and 12 days.
She was married to John H. Gaddis, deceased, February 17, 1861. To this union were born three sons, Eugene of Washington D.C., Clarence of Indianapolis, Ind. and John of Adrian, Mich.
Mrs. Gaddis was the oldest of a family of 12 children, six having preceded her to the Spirit world. Those surviving to mourn her departure are three sons, 3 sisters, one brother, three grandchildren, and two great-granchildren.
She was converted and united with the U.B. church at Union Pisgah, but later withdrew fron that society and joined the Baptist Church at the same place,
Mrs. Gaddis was a kind wife and a loving mother and respected by a large circle of friends.
The funeral service was held from the Baptist church in Attica, of which she was a member, Sunday, June 10, Rev. G. A. Chittenden officiating. The Women's Relief Corps gave its burial service at the close of the sermon. The remains were interred in Attica Cemetery.
