3 Leona Maxine Hill, 78, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday (March 6, 2010) at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
She was born on Feb. 24, 1932, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Alfred Dale Farquhar and Lulu Leona (Young) Farquhar.
Mrs. Hill attended Abundant Life Pentecostal Church. She had worked for Essex Wire and Cambridge Cleaners.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John T. Hill, in 1979, whom she married April 22, 1947; two daughters, Leona Maxine Hahn and Roselie Hill; a sister, Joan White; and a brother, Robert Farquhar.
Surviving are three daughters, Pamela Sue Hill of Cambridge, Gladys "Diane" (Robert) Schreve of Kimbolton and Regina (Terry) High of Cambridge; five sons, Rodger Dale (Judy) Hill of Cambridge, John LeRoy Hill of Texas, Richard M. (Christina) Hill of Florida, Paul David (Tamera) Hill of Cambridge and Daniel T. Watkins of Kansas; three sisters, Judy Trout, Thelma Jones and Linda McDonald, all of Zanesville; two brothers, Alfred Dale (June) Farquhar of Zanesville and Harold Robert Farquhar of Virginia; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor William Marty officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Zanesville.
