She was born on Feb. 24, 1932, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Alfred Dale Farquhar and Lulu Leona (Young) Farquhar.
Mrs. Hill attended Abundant Life Pentecostal Church. She had worked for Essex Wire and Cambridge Cleaners.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John T. Hill, in 1979, whom she married April 22, 1947; two daughters, Leona Maxine Hahn and Roselie Hill; a sister, Joan White; and a brother, Robert Farquhar.
Surviving are three daughters, Pamela Sue Hill of Cambridge, Gladys "Diane" (Robert) Schreve of Kimbolton and Regina (Terry) High of Cambridge; five sons, Rodger Dale (Judy) Hill of Cambridge, John LeRoy Hill of Texas, Richard M. (Christina) Hill of Florida, Paul David (Tamera) Hill of Cambridge and Daniel T. Watkins of Kansas; three sisters, Judy Trout, Thelma Jones and Linda McDonald, all of Zanesville; two brothers, Alfred Dale (June) Farquhar of Zanesville and Harold Robert Farquhar of Virginia; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bundy-Law Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor William Marty officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Zanesville.

Lila Joan (Joanne) Farquhar was an Electronic Assembler in National Cash Register.⁵ RAMONA - Lila Joan "Joanne" WHITE , an electronic assembler with National Cash Register for eight years, died Oct. 29 in Notre Dame Hospital, Tijuana. She was 53.Having had treatments in Mexico for her cancer, Joan decided that she wanted to die there because she did not want to be put on any kind of extended life support.

Her parents were Alfree Dale Farquhar and Lulu Leona (Young) Farquhar.

She was born in Zanesville, Ohio, and lived in Escondido (California) for six years before moving to Ramona, where she lived for nine years. She was a member of Kingdon Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Ramona Congregation.

Survivors include her husband, Albert L. "Whitey"; son Gerald L. White of Riviera, Ariz.; daughter Cynthia S. BRIGGS of Ramona; one brother and two sisters, all of Ohio; and five grandchildren. She also had several half-brothers and half-sisters.

She also lived in El Cajon 1957-1961, and Poway 1961-1969.

Nuevo Memory Gardens is in Ramona.

Gerald still lives in Riviera, a division of Bull Head City in Arizona located on the Colorado River.

Lila was associated with Jehovah's Witnesses from 1974 until her death.

She was baptised and dedicated as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her daughter Cynthia Susan Briggs Spencer is a baptised dedicated Jehovah's Witness since 1974. She was affiliated between 1974 and 1983 in Jehovah's Witnesses.⁵

John Thomas Hill was born on 24 June 1931 in Zanesville, Muskingum, Ohio.² He and Leona Maxine Farquhar were married on 22 April 1947.³ He died on 18 November 1979, at age 48, in Cambridge, Guernsey, Ohio.² He was buried in Guernsey County Memory Gardens, Cambridge, Guernsey, Ohio.²
