He was born on March 27, 1918 in Delaware County to the late George and Ruth (McWilliams) Bowsher. Graduate of Berlin High School Class of 1936, resident of Olive Green since 1951, and a US Army Veteran of WW II.
Charles worked as a machinist for Valves & Press for 32 years, retired from The Nippert Company in Delaware, following retirement he worked for the Rodney Howell Machine Shop. Member of Marengo United Methodist Church, Olentangy Lodge #53 I.O.O.F., and he had been actively involved in Boy Scout Troop #11, Olive Green.
Survived by Daughters: Rose (Frank) Adkins, Martha (Bill) Phillips, Marie (Ben) Wright, Son: Stanley (Karlene) Bowsher all of Marengo, 14 Grandchildren, 28 Great-grandchildren, Brothers: Kenneth (Rena) Bowsher, William Bowsher all of Ashley, Sister: Emma (Bill) Andrich of Delaware, Nieces & Nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife: Lula May (Powers) Bowsher on Oct. 29, 1986 and Brother: Thurman Bowsher.

William ?Bill? Grover Bowsher, 83, of Radnor and formerly of Ashley, died Friday evening (July 13, 2007) at The Arbors at Delaware.
He was born Dec. 19, 1923 in Berkshire Township to George Bowsher and Ruth (McWilliams) Bowsher. He was an employee of Peru Township and a World War II United States Army Air Force veteran. He was a lifelong area resident and had attended the Sunbury Grace Brethren Church.
He is survived by his cousin and caregiver, Bob (Ruby) Webber of Radnor; one brother, Kenneth Bowsher of Ashley; and one sister, Emma Andrick of Delaware.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Thurman.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cheshire Cemetery, with the Rev. Brian Williams of Sunbury Grace Brethren Church officiating. The Delaware County Veterans Association will provide military honors at the graveside.
