ZANESVILLE: Patricia A. Harding, 77, of Zanesville, passed away at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center.

She was born April 20, 1932 at Zanesville, the daughter of the late Martin E. and Naomi Cunion Wheeler.

Mrs. Harding was retired following 43 years of employment with United Technology and was also employed as a nurses aide in Home Health Care. She is a lifetime member of the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 ladies auxiliary and American Legion Post 29 ladies auxiliary. She is a member of Zanesville Eagles Lodge and Zanesville Moose Lodge.

She is survived by son, Denzel Harding, Jr. of Dayton; daughters, Juanetti Yester of Zanesville, Beverly (Paul) Flora of Georgia, Tina A. (Vernon) Marks of Newark, and Freda Becker of Zanesville; brothers, Leonard Wheeler of Indiana, and Harrell Wheeler of Zanesville; sisters, Marjorie Twyford of Florida, Lala Moore of Zanesville, Rhea Shaw of Zanesville and Evelyn Demaio of Florida; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded by her husband, Denzel Harding, Sr.; and brother, Dave Wheeler.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday with Father Martin Ralko officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery. The American Ladies auxiliary will conduct services at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

ZANESVILLE: Elmer A. Harding, of Zanesville, died unexpectedly Monday, July 12, 2010 at his home.

Mr. Harding was born February 6, 1932 in Zanesville, a son of the late William and Jeanette (Deavers) Grubb. He had been in the Ohio Army National Guard and worked at National Plumbing in Zanesville and Rogate Industries in Mansfield. Mr. Harding enjoyed his farm and home and maintained bee colonies and had been a member of the Muskingum County Bee Keeper's Association.

He is survived by his children, Stephanie (David) Colledge of Mansfield, Walter (Darla) Harding of Zanesville, Robert (Teresa) Harding of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Steven Harding, Diana (Travis) Wise, Sabrina Whitney, Leanne Myrick; great grandchildren, Shana and Tara Whitney; several nieces and nephews; and two beloved Siamese cats, Chloe and Icie.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha M. "Bert" Harding, whom he married October 12, 1952, on August 11, 2009.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr &Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Kinley officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Prospect Church Cemetery at a later date.
