Oliver Marshall "Ollie" Hudson Sr

Oliver "Ollie" Marshall Hudson, Sr., 72, Brownstown, formerly of Decatur, Ill., died Friday, July 1, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Survivors include his wife, the former Sandra Mathews; a son, Oliver Marshall (Jerasu) Hudson, Jr. of Seymour; a daughter, Jovi (Ralph) Caccavale of Darien, Ill.; two brothers, Dwight (Nancy) Hudson and Harold (Karen) Hudson of Decatur, Ill.; a sister, Bev (Jim) Kinney of Decatur, Ill., six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre, Seymour, is in charge of arrangements.

Sylvester Joshua (Ted) Hudson was born on 6 December 1911 in Illinois. He and Lucille Taylor were married on 31 December 1934. He died on 1 May 1977, at age 65, in Decatur, Macon, Illinois. He was buried in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, Macon, Illinois.

James Roy Kinney, 75, of Decatur, passed away at 12:01 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Heartland Health Care Center. Jim was born October 24, 1935 in Decatur, the son of Glenn E. and Zelda F. (Banfield) Kinney. He graduated from Decatur High School class of 1954. He married Beverly Ann Hudson February 20, 1955. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee from 1955-1959. He worked as a boilermaker and leadman fitter for Superior Welding and Kopetz Manufacturing retiring in 2000. He leaves behind his wife Beverly, daughter, Brenda (Steve) Craven, sons, Tim Kinney and Troy (Leslie) Kinney, foster sister, Linda Robb and her sons, Chuck, Mike, and Bruce, grandchildren, Mark, Jim (Mindy), Lee (Angela), Kassie (Will), Joshua, Carissa, Sam, Patrick, Corey, Don, Audrey, and Kelly, great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Sierra, Taylor, Camden, Jaylen, Jaylei, Joyce, and Mason, and close family friends, Jeff Hubner and Louise McBride. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law Trina (Miller) Kinney.
