Barbara A. (Snover) Millar, of Point Place, died Thursday, August 9, 2007. Barbara was born February 20, 1924, in Mt. Clemons, MI, to George R. and Mary Edith (Hockey) Snover who have preceded her in death. Barbara was a graduate of Highland Park High School, Highland Park, MI, she continued her education to receive a BA in Journalism from Wayne State University in 1945. Barbara worked in the Editorial Department for 26 years for The Toledo Blade. She belonged to various organizations such as Lucas County Genealogical Society, DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), and Ohio Genealogical Society, Detroit Society for Genealogical Research and was a former member of AAUM (American Association of University Women) and ONWA (Ohio Newspaper Women's Association). Barbara is survived by her son, Michael Millar, Arizona; niece, Patricia (James) Tait; great niece, Elizabeth, and great nephew, George Tait. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce (2003) Millar and brother George Snover. There will be no visitation. Inurnment was private. David R. Jasin Funeral Home, Inc., 5300 N.
