TRAGEDY AT GILA BEND.
Mrs. D. E. Wintermute Burned to Death on Monday Night.

There was a tragedy at Gila Bend on Monday night. Mrs. D. E. Wintermute was burned to death and her small baby was so badly burned at the same time that it was feared that it would not survive.

Mrs. Wintermute died before the arrival of the westbound train and wor was sent to Tucson for an undertaker to come and embalm the body. It will be taken to California.
