Freda M. Cook, 97, of Blairstown, NJ, passed away at the Clover Rest Home, Columbia, NJ, on Jan. 3, 2020.

She was born on Jan. 27, 1922, in Blairstown, NJ, to the late Elias and Ethel (Spangenberg) Christian. She was a lifelong resident of Blairstown and a graduate of Blairstown High School in 1940. She was a member of Blairstown Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, William Cook of Blairstown, daughter, Georgette Range and son-in-law, Lary. Also surviving are grandson, Kevin and wife, Amanda of Lock Haven, PA; grandson, Eric of Madison, NJ, and a granddaughter, Erin and husband, John Courtney, of Upper Black Eddy, PA, and three great-grandsons, Isaac, Crispin and Wolfgang. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Cook in 2004, and by a brother, Gerald Christian.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ, with a funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m.
