Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home,
Fostoria, with burial in Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and one hour before
the service on Monday.

Ralph J. Kinney, 85, formerly of Marion, died at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008, in the emergency room at Wyandot Memorial Hospital of Upper Sandusky.

He was born June 5, 1922, in Wyandot County, to Ralph L. and Florence O. (Beis) Kinney. He first married Hazel Pickens, and they later divorced. He married Lola Hall April 28, 2000, and they later divorced.

Survivors include five daughters, Florence Hall of Indianapolis, Marguerite Coykendall of Rocky Mount, N.C., Cheryl Roush of Delaware, Ohio, Carol Kinney of Largo, Fla., and Judy Pierce of Marengo; and three sons, Ralph Kinney of Bucyrus and Arthur Gene Kinney and Phillip McCoy, both of Mt. Gilead.

Ralph was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Bentz; a brother, Walter Kinney; and his parents

There is no visitation. A graveside service is 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Bethel Cemetery in McCutchenville with the Rev. Deborah Alderson officiating. Burial is at Bethel Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Wyandot County Heart Support Group or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Helen Slick, 93, of Nicholson, died Sunday at home. Her husband, Joseph E. Slick, died in 1981.

Born in Lathrop Township, Susquehanna County, daughter of the late Grover and Pearl Kinney Hinkley, she was a member of Nicholson United Methodist Church. She was a retired schoolteacher, having taught in the Nicholson school for 40 years. She was a graduate of Mansfield Teachers College. She was a member of Arbutus Chapter 29 of the Order of Eastern Star, Nicholson; the Rebekah Lodge, Nicholson; and the Union Grange. She was a Tyler Memorial Hospital volunteer and a member of the Tyler Memorial Hospital Women’s Auxiliary.

Surviving are a son, Gary, Hop Bottom; two daughters, Janet Gillin, Binghamton, N.Y.; and Linda Stacknick, Tunkhannock; six grand- children and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Charles H. Litwin Funeral Home, 91 State St., Nicholson, by the Rev. Anita Jordan, pastor of Nicholson United Methodist Church. Interment, Nicholson Cemetery.

Friends may call Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m., with Eastern Star services at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arbutus Chapter 29, Order of Eastern Star, Nicholson; the Make-A-Wish Foundation; or the Alzheimer’s Association.
