Frieda Spencer of Lapeer; brother, Carl Burmeister of North Branch; several nieces and nephews. 4 brothers prededed her in death. Arrangements by the Miles Martin Golden Rule Funeral Home, Mt. He was a timekeeper at the Huron Cement mill where he had been employed 23 years.

Mr. Hildebrandt was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Frederick and Charles at home; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne Gohl (Shirley) of Flint; one grandson, Roger Gohl; his mother, Mrs. Louise Hildebrandt of Alpena; two brothers, Robert of Alpena and Edward of Detroit; and three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Walker and Mrs. Amassa Tiffany of Detroit and Mrs. Grace Tyler of Alpena.

Mr. Hildebrandt's body is at the Wachterhauser funeral home where service will be at 2 Friday. The Rev. William B. Belk will officiate. Committal service at municipal cemetery chapel, followed by interment in Evergreen cemetery.

Snover, Velda M. Bay City, Michigan

Mrs. Snover passed away early Saturday morning June 11, 2011 at Bay Shores Nursing Center. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late William and Hattie (Snider) Vroman was born September 7, 1922 in Alpena, Michigan and resided in Bay City most of her life. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, a former member of the YWCA where she swam for twenty seven years with a group of her friends and worked with her son George for twenty years at Allen Refrigeration. Her children and her grandchildren were the center of her life and everyone that entered her home was welcomed with open arms and a friendly smile.

She is survived by five children and there spouses; Gary and Susan Snover of Albuquerque, NM, Geroge Snover and his friend Phyllis English of Memphis, TN, Tom and Nancy Snover of Essexville, Linda and Chuck Ackley of Bay City and Brad and Suzanne Snover of Memphis, TN, thirteen cherished grandchildren and eighteen dear great grandchildren, her sisters-in-law; and brothers-in-law; Ruth and Larry McKay of Midland and Clarence and Patricia Snover of Spokane, Washington and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband George H. Snover, one brother; Voyle McWhirter and two sisters; Hilda Prince and Vera Dougherty.

A Memorial Service will take place Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church 501 S. Catherine St. Officating will be Rev. Andreas H. Teich with Inurnment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The Family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. to receive visitors on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.. and at the Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Messiah Lutheran Church will be available.
