She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Doug) Withey of Sandusky; a son, Dennis (Therese) Spangler of Port Huron; two sisters, Dorothy Smith of Capac and Shirley Scully of Hillman, MI; grandchildren, Rachael, Kayte, and John Spangler, all of Port Huron, Nicholas and Shannon Spangler of Mt. Clemens, Trisha Anspaugh and Paula Nichols, both of Yale, Kim Murdick of Wildwood, Florida, Mark Jiminez of Bradenton, Florida, Christopher Withey of Sandusky; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steven R. Spangler, and a brother, Ralph Boyd.

The funeral service will take place at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Smith Family Funeral Home - North, 1525 Hancock Street with The Rev. Max Amstutz officiating.

Friends may visit Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Seven Ponds Nature Center or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Surviving are his wife, Donna Jean Smith; daughter, Deborah (Paul) D'Angelo; sons, Timothy Lee Smith, Kevin (Kristy) Smith, and Kelly (Michelle) Smith; his mother, Dorothy Smith; and a sister, Judy Verbeke, all of Allenton; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Smith and a brother, Kenneth Smith.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Imlay City.

Visiting will be 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. today.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. today in Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Larry W. Rieck of First Congregational Church in Almont officiating.
