I lived in Lakeville and Trent would come to my parents business wearing his cap, Pants with suspenders and flannel shirt. He always bought King Edward cigars and would drink Vernors. I was always told he never married. He walked to Oxford quite a bit and many a gravel truck driver would pick him up. He was a very gentle man. I am sorry that I did not get more information about Lakeville from him. I was also told he was born in the house on the hill and that it was a rooming house at one time.
