71, of Imlay City, passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at his home. Leelan was a son of Albert and Maud Bissett, born May 31, 1933 in Ubly, Michigan. Leelan married Mary Lou Campbell on August 2, 1953. Leelan was in the US Army during the Korean War. He had worked for Ford Sterling Heights Axle Plant as a machine operator, then retiring in 1991 from Ford Proving Grounds in Romeo as a supervisor/driver. Leelan is survived by his wife Mary Lou of Imlay City. One daughter Melissa (Doug Scott) Bissett of Attica. One son Michael Lee (Vickie) of Imlay City. One granddaughter Jennifer Scheff of Lapeer. A memorial service will take place at Noon Saturday, September 11, 2004 at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Imlay City. Visitation at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 Main Street, Imlay City, where the visiting hours are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral arrangements made by Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Imlay City.
