Robert L. Snover was born on 27 March 1933 in Rochester, Oakland, Michigan.1 He died on 3 January 2009, at age 75, in Charlotte, Mecklenburg, North Carolina.2 He was buried in Sharon Memorial Park (Cremation Garden Columbarium), Charlotte, Mecklenburg, North Carolina.3

Mr. Snover, of Charlotte, born March 27, 1933 in Rochester Michigan, passed away January 3, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Snover, son, Tom Stewart and wife Carolyn, two grandchildren, Sophia and Jackson Stewart, two sisters Maryland Flanagin and husband Bob, and Jan Carpenter and husband Gary, two brother and sister-in-laws, John Dobbins and wife Frances and Steve Cochran and wife Susie, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mr. Snover was a member of Hickory Grove United Methodist Church, he was a two year Korean War veteran serving his country in the United States Army, he was also a member of the American Legion Post 400.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church in the Family Life Center Livingroom Tuesday January 6, 2009 at 11:00 am with a Memorial Service following at 12:30 pm. The Reverend Arnie Corriher and Reverend Diane Donald will be officiating. The family has asked that memorial contributions may be made to Hickory Grove United Methodist Church Building Maintenance, 6401 Hickory Grove Road, Charlotte, NC 28215. Inurnment will be at a later date at Sharon Memorial Park. The family has entrusted the arrangements and care for Mr. Snover to McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road Charlotte, NC 28212, 704-334-6421.

Gerald (Jerry) Duane Snover was born on 11 October 1934 in Pontiac, Oakland, Michigan.1 He died on 10 August 2004, at age 69, in Morristown, Morris, New Jersey. He was buried in Mount Avon Cemetery, Rochester, Oakland, Michigan.

Adored husband of Patricia Twydell Snover and the late Joanne Griffin Snover; treasured father of Lisa (George) Cannon of Olney, MD, Debra (David) Gedling of Rockville, MD, Holly (Joseph) Sturm of Mt. Airy, MD, Wendy Andrews of Winston-Salem, NC, and Deborah Deland (Keith) Parkett of Chatham, NJ; best "grandpa" to Katie (Shad) Smith, Christine Gedling, Corey Andrews, Darcy Deland, Brittany Cannon, Rachael Gedling, Christopher Cannon, Casey Gedling, Camden Sturm, Kylie Sturm and Matthew Sturm; brother of Robert (Thelma) Snover, Marilyn (Robert) Flanigan, Jan (Gary) Carpenter and the late Gloria Lord.
