3 About Tom Snover
Tom Snover was a young man who presented himself to the world just as he was - capable and fun loving, with integrity and sincerity. In his 18 years, he touched the lives of many people. He was known for his engaging smile and the way that he could bring people together and make everyone feel comfortable. He lived his dreams and worked hard to do all that he wanted to do. He loved baseball, golf, scuba diving, skiing, camping, music, his guitar, and his motorcycle. But most of all, he loved his family and friends. The day before he was to graduate, with honors, from Rocky Mountain High School, Tom died in a motorcycle accident.
The Tom Snover Scholarship Endowment
The Thomas B. Snover Endowment is overseen by The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado. Scholarship funds are delivered by the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado in the name of the recipient directly to the college to be attended.
The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado is a nonprofit, public charity established by local community leaders to serve the northern Colorado region. It's mission is to build a better community by serving the special needs of donors.
Currently, the Thomas B. Snover Memorial Scholarship awards one $4,000 scholarship a year. It is our hope to grow this endowment and support more college-bound Fort Collins seniors. The 2009 Thomas B. Snover Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Rachael Brost from Fossil Ridge High School!
