Jeffrey D. Schofield, 48 died at his home in Denville on Friday, July 10, 2010. Jeff was born in Denville toRobert and Janet Schofield and lived in Denville for most of his life. He had graduated from Morris Knolls HS and later entered the US Navy. After the Navy he had lived in Arizona before moving back to Denville where he started his own taxi and livery service "U-Need a Ride". Jeff was a kind and wonderful person with a unique personality that lended itself to his taxi business. Besides loving his business he also loved playing golf especially with his friends.

His father Robert died in Dec. 1991. He is survived by his mother, Janet Schofield and his brother and his wife Robert and Mavis as well as a nephew Kyle and niece Jacqueline all of Arizona.

Funeral services will be held on Monday evening August 2, 2010 at 8:00PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ. Survivors: his wife, Kathleen J. Cooke; a son, Richard of Gloucester City; a daughter, Jean Lewis of Philadelphia; two stepdaughters, Sue Genter of Pitman and Sandra Strockbine of Clarksboro; two grandchildren, a great-grandchild; 11 step grandchildren, and 10 step-great-grandchldren.
