She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Snover and her brother, Presley Choate. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 6, 2004, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening, September 5, 2004 at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the.

BOARDMAN - There will be services Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Fox Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Church for Catherine T. Snover, 90, who died Thursday afternoon at Shepherd of the Valley.
Mrs. Snover was born April 12, 1915 in Youngstown, a daughter of Owen and Ellen Mahaney Hernan.
She had worked at J.C. Penney Co., Sears, Hills and at KMart as a clerk in the fabric department.
Catherine was a member of St. Charles Church and its Over 55 Club and was an avid bingo player.
Her husband, Robert J. Snover, whom she married Aug. 17, 1940, died Dec. 18, 1965.
She leaves five daughters, Kathy (Joseph) Micchia of Sharon, Pa., Eileen (William) Lewis of Struthers, Jo-Ann Anderson of Campbell, Donna Randall of Phoenix and Barbara (Edward) Lucivjansky of Boardman; a brother, Frank Hernan of Florida; a sister, Eileen O’Connor of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ellen Snover; three brothers, Daniel Hernan, Owen Hernan and Father James Hernan; and three sisters, Leonida Criswell, Ann Snow and Helen Lovitz.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
