RALPH ALEXANDER SNOVER, 89, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 27, 1999. Mr. Snover was preceded in death by his loving wife, Leah; and his infant son, Donald. He is survived by his three children, Carolyn Honeycutt and husband Leon, Raymond Snover and wife Helen, and Robert Snover and wife Deanna; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; family and friends. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary Service to follow at 7:30 pm, Sunday, August 29, 1999, at Earthman Gulf Chapel, 6330 Gulf Freeway. Funeral Mass: 10:00 am, Monday, August 30, 1999, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 8150 Park Place Blvd., Rev. Eugene Dobosz, Celebrant. Rite of Committal: South Park Cemetery, Pearland, Texas. For those desiring, contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

He was born in Columbia County, Pa. June 14, 1895 to the late Warren and Clara Rumble Cherrington. He was a retired salesman for the Dorrance Supply Co. of Youngstown.

He was an Army veteran of World War I, serving as a lietenant in the 108th Infantry Division in France.

He is survived by his wife, the former Neva M. Dunn, whom he married Sept. 14, 1923; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Evert of Drums, Pa.; two brothers, Wayne of Philadelphia and Allen of Clark, Summit, Pa.

He also was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

A private graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Graceland Cemetery to be conducted by the Rev. F. Dickson Marshall of the City Rescue Mission. No calling hours are planned. Burial will follow the private service.
