A homemaker and an Indian River County resident for more than three years, Mrs. Heaveer died Saturday at Indian River Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Heavener of Vero Beach; one daughter, Patricia Trainer of Easton, Pa; three sisters living outside the state; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildrem.

She was the daughter of the late Harry and Emma Mount; mother of the late Elwood Harry Brandes; and wife of the late Elwood Brandes.

Ethel is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Al Brody of Mount Holly; five grandchildren, Michelle Bryant Ponquinette (Justin), Leidia Bryant, Robert D. Bryant (Leela), Christopher Brandes and Jessica Brandes; one great-grandson, Justin Ponquinette; her sister, Helen Tickwell of South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23, at the Masonic Home, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, where a funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kaitlyn Bleiweiss, c/o Hedding UMC P.O. Box 25, Columbus, NJ 08022.
