Freda was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Amityville.
She was the devoted mother of Harold Thomas Hottenstein, and his wife, Dorothy; Carol, widow of Joseph R. Pagliaro; and Richard Marvin Hottenstein, and his wife, Dianne.
She was the beloved mema of seven grandchildren and the beloved great-mema of nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 1312 Old Swede Road, Amityville, on Monday, Jan. 3, at noon. Friends and family may view on Monday from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, Amityville.
