Louis Albert Oeser was born on 12 April 1891 in Claflin, Barton, Kansas.1,2 He and Beulah May Jones were married about 1911.3 He died on 25 November 1972, at age 81, in Burlingame, Osage, Kansas.1
Louis Albert Oeser was a Farmer.2 Louis Albert Oeser, 81, Burlingame, died Saturday in an Osage City rest home. He was readmitted to a Topeka hospital Sept. 18 after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage and was transferred to the rest home Oct. 30.

He was born April 12, 1891, at Claflin in Barton County where he spent most of his life. He lived in Great Bend before he moved to Burlingame several months ago.

Mr. Oeser had been a farmer and operated an elevator at Claflin before he retired. He was a member of the United Church of Claflin.

His wife, Beulah Oeser died in 1924. A son, Charles D. Oeser, died in 1954.

Survivors include two sons, Dean E. Oeser, Rodea, Calif., and Louis Oeser, Jr., Florence Colo; two daughters, Mrs. Carol Tindall, Route 2 Burlingame, and Mrs. Annabeth Thorne, Mesa, Ariz; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Cary Funeral Home at Burlingame is in charge of arrangements.

GARNETT --- Carol Lucille Tindell, 82, Garnett, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at a Lawrence hospital.

She was born June 21, 1919, in Claflin, the daughter of Lewis Oeser and Beulah Jones Oeser. She was raised in Lyndon and had lived in Burlingame and Apache Junction, Ariz., before she moved to Garnett.

Mrs. Tindell was a member of the hospital auxiliary. Carol also had a "green thumb" and grew many flowers and houseplants. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She married Roy Tindell on Sept. 15, 1934, in Burlingame. He died Aug. 21, 1975. Mrs. Tindell also was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis Oeser, Jr.; and Delbert Oeser and by a grandson, Larry Sisco.

Survivors include a son, Lewis Tindell and his wife Mary Ann, Garnett; four daughters, Beulah Sisco and her husband Tom, Richmond, Mo., June Jud and her husband Billy, Lawson, Mo., Carrie Rulon and her husband Tom, Brush, Colo., and Rose Dennison and her husband Alvin, Garnett; a brother, Dean Oeser, Rodeo, Calif.; a sister, Annabeth Thorne, Mesa, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel in Garnett. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Burlingame Cemetery in Burlingame. Mrs. Tindell will lie in state at the funeral chapel today and until service time Friday, where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

Contributions may be made to the Carol Tindell Memorial Fund to be designated later and sent in care of the funeral chapel.

Roy Murlin Tindell was a Coal Miner.3 Service were held Wednesday afternoon at the Burlingame Federated Church for Roy Murlin Tindall, 63, who died Sunday at his home here.

He was born March 12, 1912 at Burlingame, and spent most of his life in the Burlingame community. He was a coal miner about 20 years and later worked for Whelen Lumber Co. in Topeka about 20 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Tindall was married to Carol Lucile Oeser, September 15, 1934 in Burlingame. She survives.

Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Tom Sisco (Beulah) of Richmond, Missouri, Mrs. Willard Judy (June), Lawson, Missouri, Mrs. Alvin Dennison (Rose), Garrett, and Mrs. Andy Laird (Carrie), Mesa, Arizona; a son, Lewis Tindall, Topeka; three sisters, Mrs. Hariertt Kness and Mrs. Esther ?oney, both of Osage City, and Mrs. Dorothy Jones, Lebanon, Missouri; and 17 grandchildren.

Interment was in Burlingame Cemtery with Cary Funeral Home in charge.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Pallbearers were George Masters, ? Burkett, Everett Seastom, Bob Robinson, Tom Watson and Bob Young.

Beulah M. Sisco, 73, of Richmond, died at 9:15 p.m., Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Beulah was born Feb. 27, 1935 in Burlingame, Kan., the daughter of Roy M. and Carol L. (Oeser) Tindell. She married Thomas D. Sisco of Topeka, Kan., March 5, 1953; he survives of the home.
Beulah was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. She loved her family first and foremost. She also loved to garden and grow flowers. Beulah lived in the Richmond area most of her life.
In addition to Beulah’s husband, survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard D. Sisco and his wife, Peggy, of Richmond, Dennis M. Sisco and his wife, Gerry, of Lakeland, Fla., one daughter, Laura Richardson and Mitch Cox of Kansas City, Mo., three sisters and two brothers-in-law, June Judy and her husband, Bill, of Arkansas, Rose Dennison and her husband, Alvin, of Garnett, Kan., and Carrie Rulon of Colorado; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, one son, Larry K. Sisco, and one daughter, Melody Sisco, preceded Beulah in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., Monday, Sept. 29, at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.

Mr,. Sisco was born August 31, 1932 in Topeka, KS, to Albert D. and Edith W. (Weir) Sisco. He married Beulah May Tindall of Burlingame, KS on March 5, 1953; she preceded him in death on September 26, 2008.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard D. and Peggy Sisco of Richmond, and Dennis and Gerry Sisco of Lakeland, FL.; one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Mitch Cox of Kansas City, MO; brother and sister-in-law, Teddy and Bonnie Sisco of Topeka, KS; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Anita and Bill Jones of Carbondale, KS, and Susie Wellman of Carbondale; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Sisco was a custodian for the Richmond School District for 2o years. He lived most of his life in Richmond. He was amember of the Lexington Moose Lodge. He loved his family, fishing, hunting and gardening.

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. --- Melody C. Sisco Gardner, 38, Chillicothe, Mo., formerly of Richmond, Mo., died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at a rehabilitation center in Smithville, Mo., while recovering from accidental head trauma.

Ms. Gardner worked at Ford Motor Co. for 11 years.

She was born July 21, 1964, in Richmond, Mo., the daughter of Thomas D. and Beulah M. Tindell Sisco. Ms. Gardner had lived in Richmond, Mo., and Hamilton, Mo. before moving to Chillicothe, Mo., last October.

Ms. Gardner was a member of the UAW Union Local 249. She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include a son, Andrew Scott Montgomery, Missouri City, Mo.; a daughter, Amanda Jean Montgomery, Missouri City, Mo.; two brothers, Richard Sisco, Richmond, Mo., and Dennis Sisco, Lakeland, Fla.; and a sister, Laura Richardson, Kansas City, Mo.

Services were held Saturday in Richmond, Mo.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Melody C. Sisco Gardner Memorial Fund and sent in care of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, Mo.
