Anna Jean Christman, 89, of Stroudsburg, died Monday, Oct. 31, at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul K. Christman to whom she was married to for 60 years.
Born on Oct. 14, 1916, in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of Roy and Anna (Detrick) Predmore.
She worked at Summer Pocket Book Factory in Stroudsburg for 30 years until it closed. Prior to that, she worked for 10 years as a housekeeper at Mt. Lake House in Marshalls Creek. She was a member of the Stroudsburg United Methodist Church in Stroudsburg. She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
Surviving are nephews Donald Titus and his wife Kathy, of East Stroudsburg, Phil Frace of Stroudsburg, Norman Predmore and his wife Jo, of Ephrata, Charlton Christman of Venice Fla.; a niece, Lois Taylor of Brodheadsville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington St., East Stroudsburg, with the Rev. Thomas Anderman officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
Visitation for family and friends will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at the funeral home.
