Prior to his retirement in 1970, he was employed in the shipping department at LineMaterial, McGraw Edison, now Cooper Industries, in East Stroudsburg for 36 years. He was a member of the Machinist Union. He was a lifetime member of the CLU Club in East Stroudsburg and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War ll.

He is survived by two sisters, Irma Titus of East Stroudsburg and A, Jeane Christman of Stroudsburg, a brother, Harold R. Predmore of Denver, Pa., and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington St., East Stroudsburg with the Rev. Raymond Poorstra officiating.

Burial will be in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg. There will be no viewing.

Anna Jean Christman, 89, of Stroudsburg, died Monday, Oct. 31, at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul K. Christman to whom she was married to for 60 years.
Born on Oct. 14, 1916, in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of Roy and Anna (Detrick) Predmore.
She worked at Summer Pocket Book Factory in Stroudsburg for 30 years until it closed. Prior to that, she worked for 10 years as a housekeeper at Mt. Lake House in Marshalls Creek. She was a member of the Stroudsburg United Methodist Church in Stroudsburg. She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
Surviving are nephews Donald Titus and his wife Kathy, of East Stroudsburg, Phil Frace of Stroudsburg, Norman Predmore and his wife Jo, of Ephrata, Charlton Christman of Venice Fla.; a niece, Lois Taylor of Brodheadsville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington St., East Stroudsburg, with the Rev. Thomas Anderman officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
Visitation for family and friends will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at the funeral home.

Roy H. Predmore, 74, of Upper Mount Bethel Township, died July 18 in Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort. He was married to Dorothy I. (Mutchler) Predmore for 55 years.

He worked for the Upper Mount Bethel Township road crew until retiring in 1989. Previously, he worked for General Electric.

Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Clark) Predmore.

Survivors: Wife; sons, John of San Francisco, Calif., Roy T. of Upper Mount Bethel Township; daughter, Jeffra Lee of Upper Mount Bethel Township; brother, Norman H. of Denver, Lancaster County; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Christina Brodt.

Stroudsburg High School, he served in the US Navy during WW II and the Korean War, and enjoyed woodworking.

Josephine Mae Oberholtzer was a Sales Attendent-Donecker's.1 Josephine Mae Predmore, 93, of Ephrata, formerly of Denver, passed away on July 21, 2019, at Hospice and Community Care in Mt. Joy.

She was the daughter of the late Rudy and Alma Mae (Mohn) Oberholtzer and the wife of the late Norman H. Predmore who passed away on February 25, 2008.

Josephine was a sales attendant for Donecker's until the early 1980's. She was a member of St. John's UCC, Denver and Denver Woman's Club. She enjoyed volunteering with Meals-on-Wheels and loved playing cards with her friends.

She is survived by two nephews, R. Kevin Oberholtzer (Brenda Ritter Oberholtzer his wife) of Lebanon, Marshall Lance Oberholtzer of Reamstown and a sister-in-law, Florence Schaufert also of Reamstown.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 10 to 11AM, at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver, followed by funeral services at 11 AM with Pastor Brad Haws officiating. Interment will take place in Memory Gardens memorial Park.

She is survived by a daughter, Jeffra Lee and her husband, Larry, of Upper Mt. Bethel; two sons, John Predmore and Roy T. Predmore and his wife, Donna, all of Upper Mt. Bethel; a brother, Donald T. Mutchler of Upper Mt. Bethel; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Christina Brodt.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, at Portland Baptist Church, Portland. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Upper Mt. Bethel Township.
