Frieda Routzon

Frieda M. Routzon, 79, of 8196 Oakwood Drive, Findlay, died the morning of January 13, 2004 at Birchaven Retirement Village.

Born May 29, 1924 in Locke, New York, to G. C. and Ola F. (Pankey) Hoover, she married Donald E. Routzon in Findlay on Sept. 21, 1946, and he preceded her in death in 1999.

She is survived by a son, Michael R. Routzon of Rawson, and daughter, Pamela S. Emmons, Findlay; a brother, Claude H. Rumsey, Moravia, NY; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marian Uhl.

Mrs. Routzon was a homemaker, and was a member of DAVA #43, VFW Auxiliary #5645, AmVets Auxiliary #21, and the Women of the Moose.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 14, at Routson Funeral Chapel from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., with a funeral service at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 15. Burial will be in Knollcrest Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Ln., Findlay.
