Born in Summit Hill, she was a daughter of the late Oliver C. and Rhoda (Labenburg) Miller.
She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Packerton.
She was recording secretary for the World War II Mothers of Summit Hill.

Survivors: Wife ,mother,sons;Ammon D and his wife Jane (Lampietro) Hontz, Keith and his wife Kathleen (Malchon) Hontz,both of Jim Thorpe, Peter and jis wife Jayne (Kramer) Hontz, Fleetwood; sister Nancy Haman of Lehighton, 4 grandchildren. Ammon will be buried with full Military Honors in the Mauch Chunk Cemetery, Jim Thorpe. Call 7-9 p.m. Friday and 1:30-2 p.m. Saturday in the church. Edward F. Melber Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church.
