The funeral service Mrs. Sharon L. Hontz, 71, of Center Avenue, Jim Thorpe, who died Saturday, Feb. 26, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, in Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church, 441 Center Ave., Jim Thorpe, followed by interment in the Mauch Chunk Cemetery, Jim Thorpe.
Calling hours are scheduled from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday in the church.
Surviving Sharon are three sons, Ammon D., and wife, Jane, and Keith A. Sr., and his wife, Kathleen, both of Jim Thorpe, and Peter E., and his wife, Jayne L., of Fleetwood; a brother, X. Peter Wernett, and his wife, Suzanne, of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a sister, Karen S., wife of David A. Brickley of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and four grandchildren.
The Edward F. Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe, is in charge of the arrangements.

Snyder and his wife Caroline of Albrightsville; sisters, Thelma White and Dolores Ockenhouse and her husband Lamont of Lehighton; grand children, Aaron, Shannon, and Melissa; 7 great grand children.
Inky, retired from Teamsters Local 158 having worked construction. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Summit Hill, and was an avid outdoorman and talented carpenter.
Born Friday, December 31,1937 in Mauch Chunk the son of the late LeRoy, and Myrtle (Miller) Snyder. He was also predeceased by daughter; Debra Ann Snyder; sisters, baby Snyder, Rhoda Snyder, Irene Stack; brothers, LeRoy and Claude Snyder.
Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.

Burdell R. White, 71, of 553 Railroad St., Danville, died on Sunday, November 23 at his residence in Danville. He was born on November 13, 1937, in Coaldale, Pa. a son of the late John and Helen (Weaver) White. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy. Burdell worked at Bethlehem Steel Corporation for more than nine years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lehighton. He was co-owner of Whites Trading in Lehighton. Survivors: Burdell is survived by his beloved wife, the former Thelma Snyder; a son, Brian White of Lehighton; three daughters, Sharon Bollinger of Lehighton, Sandy and her husband Paul Hedmeck of Lehighton, and Brenda and her husband James Jurinko of Danville, with whom Burdell resided for 17 years; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth White, George Ketchledge and Emil Ketchledge. Services: Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, December 1, at First Presbyterian Church, 304 Mahoning St., Lehighton, with his pastor, Rev. Wilson Scott officiating.
