Dennis is survived by his wife, Beverley; sons, Dirk Thayer, Darik "Chum" (Brenda) Thayer; twin granddaughters, Karen and Caitlyn; brothers, Lowell (Dorothy) Thayer, William Thayer and Hazen Thayer; sister-in-law, Pat (Dave) Goward; several nieces and nephews.
