Services were held for Mrs. Nellie T. Mitchell,age 86, on Friday, January 31, 1969 at the
Mayville Methodist Church, Rev. Donald Lictenfelt officiate and burial was in Fremont Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell died Tuesday, January 28 at the Bloomfield Hills Nursing Center, She was born
April 26, 1882 in Ray Center, Michigan, the daughter of Andrew and Maty E, Thompson, Her
marriage to Walter W. Mitchell took place in Mayville in 1902, He predeceased her in April
of 1944. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of the Mayville United Methodist Church and OES 163
of Mayville. Most of her life was spent here except for 30 years in Detroit.
Survivors include 1 son, Haxlan of Detroit;1 granddaughter and 1 grandson.
