Paxton were divorced in 1946 in Pinellas County, Florida.6 He died on 31 August 1979, at age 77, in Stroudsburg, Monroe, Pennsylvania.1,4 He was buried in Stroudsburg Cemetery, Stroudsburg, Monroe, Pennsylvania.3
