He died on 5 April 2010, at age 92, in Roseburg, Douglas, Oregon.1 He was buried on 9 April 2010 in Roseburg Memorial Gardens (Mausoleum), Roseburg, Douglas, Oregon.1,3
Lee Morris Bolton was a Millwright.3 In Loving Memory.

Dad was born on July 20, 1917, to Lee Maze and Ruth (Allen) Bolton in Lodi, Nebraska. He passed away on April 5, 2010, at the age of 92. He leaves behind his wife of 71 years, Beatrice Lorraine (Amos) Bolton, daughters, Yanena Meshew, Elena Dickinson and son-in-law, Fred all of Roseburg. Youngest brother, Bill (Marilyn) Van Cleave of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; grandchildren, Shyra (Bruce) Nelson of Springfield, Oregon; Derek Parret, Lela Johnson, Curtis Chrisenbery, Jason Chrisenbery all of Roseburg, 11 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dad spent his early years in Nebraska and when his beloved mother died when he was 16, he took to hopping trains and seeing the country. After a few years he ended up in Oakley, California to be with family and work. In the early 1950's our family came to Roseburg where Dad worked on numerous projects around Douglas County. He was a Millwright and built many things.

Dad liked to hunt, fish and ride motorcycles. He was an avid Rock hound and liked to pan for gold.. But most of all he loved doing things with and for his family. He dearly loved his grandchildren. "A big thank you for all your help with Grandpa these past years."

He is preceded in death by his parents and younger brothers, Howard and Frederick Bolton.

We would like to give a special "Thanks" to cousin Mike for being there when Dad needed you and to Fred, who was with Dad through the good and bad the last few months. Also thanks to the people who cared for Dad in Rehab, the Nursing Facility Staff, Amedisys Hospice who came to help at home and the girls from in home care.

Entombment has taken place on Friday, April 9, 2010, at Roseburg Memorial Gardens after a small, very nice Service at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. Thank you everyone for the cards, flowers, and being with us through our sad time.

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother and Great great grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday evening, July 23, 2010, at the age of 93.

Mother was born in Dry Valley, Nebraska, on September 21, 1916, to parents, Leland James and Alma Alberta (Geiser) Amos. She was the oldest of nine children. After graduating High School she attended Kearny State College to become a teacher, her greatest passion in life, and after a year or two of teaching she met our father, Lee Bolton, the love of her life. They were married 72 years when he passed away on April 5, 2010. Also preceding her in death are her parents, three sisters, and two brothers. She leaves behind daughters, Yanena Meshew and Elena Dickinson and son-in-law, Fred all of Roseburg, Grandchildren, Shyra Nelson (Bruce) of Springfield, Oregon, Derek Parret (Debbie), Lela Johnson, Curtis Chrisenbery and Jason Chrisenbery and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by one brother and two sisters.

Mother taught school in Nebraska, California, Missouri and Oregon. Her greatest joy was teaching and her students. She taught 4th grade at Riverside Elementary in Roseburg, Dillard Elementary in Dillard and then at Civil Bend Elementary in Winston before retiring.

Mother's faith and belief in the Lord was so important in her life, she spent 30 years on the Missions' Committee at First Christian Church in Roseburg. She also was instrumental in starting the Roseburg Christian School and running the Hi-Teener's Department in the 1960's. She dearly loved her Church and her friends there.

Mother enjoyed doing genealogy for many years and took many trips back East and to England to find her family. She loved Traveling and looking for information on our ancestors. After retiring mom and dad traveled around the United States and spent time in Arizona with friends.

My sister and I would like to thank the wonderful people who took care of mother at Chantele's Loving Touch and to Chantele for her guidance, knowledge and love. Thank You. Also our thanks go to the ladies from Amedisys Hospice who helped in mother's finial days and to our family who helped one way or another these past years, Thank you everyone for the cards and visits and the caregivers who took care of mother this past year and a half. Thank You to everyone.

Funeral Services will be Friday, July 30, 2010, at 11 a.m. at First Christian Church with a luncheon to follow. Entombment will be at Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
