Robert K. Warner, age 87 of Upper Sanduksy died at 11:52 p.m. Wed. June 5, 2013 in the Fairhaven Health Care Community.

On Aug. 19, 1925 he was born in Sycamore to the late Tom and Helen (Curlis) Warner. He is survived by his wife Irma (Kuenzli) of Upper Sandusky, along with three sons Steve (Liz) Warner, Burlington; WI, Jeff (Jana) Warner, Delaware, Mike (Lori) Warner, Marysville and a daughter Kathy (Victor) Koehler, Delaware, eleven grandchildren Mallory Warner, Nick Warner, Jacqueline Warner, Luke (Stephanie) Warner, Andrew Warner, Raquel Warner, Alex Warner, Jake Warner, Olivia Warner, Cameron Koehler and Bradley Koehler, a brother Dan (Kathleen) Warner, St. Petersburg; FL.

He is preceded in death by a brother Tom Warner and a sister Mary Jane Bolish, sister-in-law Joyce Warner and brother-in-law Bob Bolish.

Mr. Warner was a WWII United States Marine Veteran serving in the South Pacific during Iwo Jima and was a purple heart recipient. Mr. Warner was of the Methodist faith. In 1981 he retired as superintendent of Wyandot Co. Highways. He was a lifelong member of BPOE #83. Mr. Warner enjoyed volunteering at Angeline School and Industries and farming.

A funeral service will be held Monday June 10, 2013 at 10:00 am in Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Jeff Warner officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mission Cemetery with full military graveside rites being conducted by Upper Sandusky Military Color Guard.
