Shortly thereafter, he moved to Schenectady, New York as the June 12, 1919 Scanton Republican says "Mrs. Robert Parsons, of Schnectady, is visiting at the home of Mrs. Abi Parsons."
He remained in Schenectady, at the time the home of the General Electric headquarters, where the census lists his occupation as an electrical engineer engaged in transformer manufacturing.

Robert (Bob) Calvin Parsons1
M, #82746, b. 6 April 1921, d. 19 November 2010
Parents
Biography
Robert (Bob) Calvin Parsons was born on 6 April 1921 in Schenectady, Schenectady, New York.
1 He and
Martha Lavina Redewill were married on 19 November 1948. He died on 19 November 2010, at age 89, in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, California. He was buried in Alta Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, California.
Robert (Bob) Calvin Parsons was a Lockheed Corporation- Captain of Glomar Exlorer/Sea Shadow Stealth. The Glomar Explorer was a deep see drilling platform built by Howard Hughes at the behest of the Central Intelligence Agency to recover K-129, a sunken nuclear submarine of the Soviet Union. The submarine, which went down in 1968 was located in very deep waters 1560 miles northwest of Hawaii. After an extensive search by Soviet Union ended, the U.S. Navy located and photgraphed the wreck on the bottom of the ocean floor. In 1970 President Nixon approved a plan to raise submarine and learn its secrets. Since a very large ship would be needed for salvage, a cover story was developed to mask the true purpose from the Soviets. The C.I.A. approached Howard Hughes and later told the media that the purpose was to mine the deep sea for minerals. The operation was called "Project Azoria". A portion of the submarine along with two nuclear torpedoes were recovered. In addition the bodies of six soviet seaman were retrieved and given a subquent military burial at sea.
Sea Shadow (IX-529) was an experimental stealth ship built by Lockheed for the United States Navy to determine how a low radar profile might be achieved and to test high stability hull configurations which have been used in oceanographic ships. Sea Shadow was built in 1984 to examine the application of stealth technology on naval vessels. She was used in secret until a public debut in 1993. In addition, the ship was designed to test the use of automation to enable the reduction of crew size. The ship was created by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the U.S. Navy and Lockheed. Sea Shadow was developed at Lockheed's Redwood City, California, facility, inside the Hughes Mining Barge (HMB-1), which functioned as a floating drydock during construction and testing.
