William "Bill" J. Kronemyer, 58, died on Aug. 6.

Born in Bethesda, Md., he had lived in Ridgewood for 25 years before moving to Elmwood Park in 2003. He founded the New Jersey Videographers Association (NJVA) in 1988 and was an active member of NJ Creatives Network (NJCN) and other multimedia groups. He was the owner of WJK Associates. Having lived in South America in the late 1970s, he became a fan of Brazilian music and spoke fluent Portuguese.

He is survived by his mother, Kathryn "Kay" (nee Ryan); his siblings, Robert "Bob" and wife Ann of Elkhart, Ind. and Katie Kronemyer of Tucson, Ariz.; and his nephew and niece, Galen of Tucson and Amy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was predeceased by his father, Jack Kronemyer.

Cremation was private.
