ARMOUR - Abner J. Armour, 80, 707 Whippoorwill Lane, Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of Rockford, died Friday, May 18, 1979, in Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Boynton Beach, Fla. Born Feb. 12, 1899, in Rockford. Lived seven years in Florida, moving there from Rockford. He ws a retired civil engineer for Rockford Black Top Construction Co., and was former president of the Rockford Sanitary District. Member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors incude his wife, Geraldine; a sister, Mrs. Marguerite Kaylor, Leawood, Kan.; three nephews, Jmes Armour and Robert Nowicki, both of Rockford, and Charles Armour, Pasadena, Calif.; and two nieces, Mrs. Sally Roberts, Stratford, Conn., and Mrs. Patricia Nowling, Costa Mesa, Calif.
Services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, in BURPEE-WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 420 N. Main St., with the Rev. W. Kent Clise, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. A memorial has been established for Little Red Wagon Fund, in care of Chief Todd Jackson, Delray Beach Fire Department, 101 W. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach, Fla.
