She was born June 15, 1920, in Bethesda, MD, and was a daughter of John and Jessie (Newton) Frees. On Nov. 12, 1979, in Pleasantville, NJ, she was united in marriage to Arthur Agusta Heavener.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She graduated in 1939 from the Atlantic City High School in New Jersey. She worked as a secretary for the Federal Aviation Agency in Pomona, NJ, until her retirement. She was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Shell Knob, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, a lifetime member and past Grand Matron of Friendship Chapter 173 Order of The Eastern Star in New Jersey and a National Member of the Republican Committee.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob, and burial in Lake Park Memorial Gardens, Shell Knob.

Anthony Crisafulli, Sr., was a Mack Truck Employee/ Ingersoll-Rand Employee.4 Anthony Crisafulli Sr., 82, of Belvidere, N. J. , formerly of Easton, died Wednesday at home. He was the husband of Dorothy L. (Slack) Crisafulli.

He worked for Ingersoll-Rand, Phillipsburg, for 10 years, retiring in 1973. Before that he worked for Mach Trucks in Plainfield, N. J., fo 22 1/2 years.

Born in Fornite, Sicily, he was a son of the late Anthony and Rose (DiNatalie) Crisafulli.

He was a past governor of Moose Lodge 45, Easton.

Survivors: Wife; sons, Orville Burke of Maumee, Ohio and Anthony Jr., of Hackettstown, N. J.; daughter Rose Marie Rodgers of Easton; sisters, Angeline Carta of Shamokin and Mary Boehmer of Easton; brothers, Salvatore and Albert, both of Easton; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St. Phillipsburg. Call 7-9 p.m. Sunday.

Anthony Crisafulli, 69, of White Township, Belvidere, passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on Sept. 13, 2007, at the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Crisafulli was the owner and operator of A& J Machine and Mechanical Services, Hakettstown, for over 20 years.

Born Oct. 17, 1937, in Easton, Pa., he was a son of the late Anthony and Dorothy Slack Crisafulli.

He was a member and Past Master of the Independence Lodge No. 42 F.& A.M., Hackettstown; Tall Cedars of Lebanon Forrest No. 14. Mr. Crisafulli was an organizer of many blood drives and charitable drives for Muscular Dystophy and the Easton Children's Home. Mr. Crisafulli was an avid Yankee fan.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Janet (Kirsehner) Crisafulli; four children, Beth Makatura and her husband, Charles, Dee Spencer and her husband, Craig, Louis Crisafulli and his wife, Renee, all of Belvidere, and Anthony Crisafulli and his wife, Anne, of Texas; a sister, Rose Marie Rodgers and her husband Charles; 12 grandchildren, Julianne Makatura, Deborah Fuhrmann and her husband Jack, Charles Makatura III, Patricia Holcolmbe and her husband, Ryan, Rebecca Gillette, Paul Gillette, Jacob Crisafulli, Margaret Crisafulli, Coco Crisafulli, Marianna Crisafulli, Kylie Crisafulli, and Sierra Crisafulli; one great-grandson, Jack Fuhrmann Jr.; several nephews and nieces. A brother, Orville Burke had died earlier.

A Christian Wake Service was held Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at MacFadden Funeral Home 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere. Interment was in Belvidere Cemetery.
