Born Sept. 20, 1898, in Raubsville, she was a daughter of the late Quintus and Cora Unangst.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

Surviving are three sons, Carl F. and Harold, Easton, and Quintus, Downingtown; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Martinez, Easton, and Mrs. Esther Johnson, Westminster, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Stofflet, Raubsville, and 16 grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Ashton Funeral Home.

George D. Beidleman, 92, former Raubsville postmaster, died early Wednesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Irene Macan, 218 N. Terry Road, Syracuse, N.Y.

Last employed as a clerk by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, he retired in 1968 after 15 years of service. Previously, he and his wife, the former Sylvia Young, who died in 1977, operated a grocery store in Raubsville, where he served as postmaster for 20 years.

Born in Williams Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Beidleman.

Mr. Beidleman was a member and former consistory member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Williams Township. He was also a member of Washington Camp No. 150, P.O.S. of A., Valley Forge; Mantua Tribe No. 119, Improved Order of Redmen of New Jersey, and the Easton Sertoma Club.

Surviving in addition to his daughter are a son, Ernest Y. of Easton; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services wil be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Robert W. Snyder Funeral home, Riegelsville, Interment will be in St. John's Union Cemetery, Williams Township.

EAST AMWELL TWP. -- Martha Elizabeth ''Bea'' Young died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township. She was 91.

Born in Upper Black Eddy, Pa., she was the daughter of Elmer and Bertha Burkett Hillpot.

She moved to Ringoes in 1937.

Mrs. Young formerly operated Bea's Diner in Ringoes.

She was a member of the United First Presbyterian Church of Amwell at Larison's Corner.

She belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Amwell Valley Fire Company in Ringoes and was a member of East Amwell, West Amwell, Whitehouse and Flemington-Raritan senior citizens clubs.

Her husband, William F. Young, died in 1979.

Mrs. Young is survived by a son, William R. Young of Holland Township, two grandsons and a great-grandson.

Services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in Flemington. Calling hours will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Union Cemetery in Ringoes.
