Loretta E. DiFrancesco, 72, of Quakertown, died Friday, January 5, 2007, in Hospice House of the V.N.A. of St. Lukes, Bethlehem. Born in Richland Twp., she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Pauline (Ulmer) Walker. She was part owner of the family business, A.E. Walker Inc., Quakertown, before retiring. Loretta enjoyed baking and gardening.

Survivors: Son, Bruce and his wife Lorraine of Coopersburg; two daughters, Vicky, wife of Ron Clark of Coopersburg, Diane, wife of Terry Bast of Pennsburg; brother, Earl Walker of Coopersburg; sister, Janet, wife of Leroy Kresge of Zion Hill; four grandchildren, Justin and Alicia Bast, Nicole and Daniel DiFrancesco. She was also awaiting the birth of her first great-grandchild. Loretta is also survived by her ex-husband, beloved friend, Carmen DiFrancesco of Coopersburg, daughter-in-law, Patricia DiFrancesco of Quakertown, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Richard L.

Born in Atlas, Pa he was the son of the late Odorizzo & Amelia (Rossi) DiFrancesco. Before retiring he was a presser for the former Harvey Clothing in Quakertown. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII, and a former member of the Quakertown American Legion Post #242. Survivors: a son Carmen "Bruce" (Lorraine) of Coopersburg, two daughters Vicky Clark (Ron) of Cooopersburg, and Diane Bast (Terry) of Green Lane. Four grandchildren Justin Bast (Lynda) of Pennsburg, Alice Coughlan (Pete) of Green Lane, Daniel DiFrancesco of Boston, MA, and Nicole DiFrancesco of Columbia Ga. Three great grandchildren Emily, Melony and Liam and one great grandson due in July. He was predeceased by a son Richard L. and his ex wife and friend Loretta E. DiFrancesco. Services: Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www,crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
