6,3 Mrs. Amanda Camp, wife of John Camp of West Salisbury, Pa., fell dead in her home while attending to her household duties, Thursday, aged 66 years, one month and 23 days. She was born in Elk Lick Township, April 10, 1871, and was a daughter of the late Reuben and Mary (Marker) Johnson. Her death was caused by heart disease. She is survived by her husdand and these children: William Camp and Mrs. Nellie Smith of Trafford City, Pa., and Mrs. George Engle of Bruceton Mills, W. Va.
Her funeral was held in the Salibury Lutheran Church, last Sunday, at 1:30 P.M., conducted by her pastor, Rev. S. D. Sigler.
The burial arrangements was in charge of Stanley M. Thomas, Salisbury's mortician and funeral director. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Salisbury. The florial tributes were beautiful.
Among those from a distance who attended the funeral were two brothers of Mrs. Camp, Theodore and William Johnson, of Cumberland, Md.
Mrs. Camp was a kind and devoted wife and mother, and was well liked by all her friends and neighbors. By her death, her husband was the only member of the family left at home. Much sympathy is felt for him as he is also afflicted with heart disease, as well as by asthma much of the time.

Mamie Ellen Ulmer a resident of Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown and formerly of East Rockhill Township, died Monday, April 4, 2005 in St. Lukes Quakertown Hospital. She was 101. She was the wife of Russell D. Ulmer, who died in 1969. Born in East Rockhill Township, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Janney) Lewis. Mrs. Ulmer had been employed as a seamstress by the former Dublin Pants Factory for many years until retiring in 1968. She was a member of St. Peters (Tohickon) United Church of Christ, Weisel. Mrs. Ulmer enjoyed baking and making soup for various church functions.
Survivors: Two sons, Donald L. Ulmer of Quakertown and Willard R. Ulmer and his wife, Judith, of East Rockhill Township; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Russell W. Jr. and Gerald L. Ulmer, a brother, and two sisters.
