Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Lawrence (Emma Berger) Hein, who died in San Antonio, Tex., on April 21. Burial was in San Antonio on April 24.

Mrs. Hein was a beutician for more thean 37 years, and owned and operated a beauty shop in Waverly during the late 1920's and early 1930's. She later had a shop in Mason City and worked many years in Des Moines before moving to San Antonio.

Survivors include her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Boedecker of Fort Walton Beach, Fla; Mrs Augusta Koschmeder of Readlyn; two brothers, Fred Berger of Waverly, and Clarence Berger of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Louis Berger.

Mrs. Louis Berger and Mrs. Koschmeder had just returned from visiting here a few days prior to her death. Clarence Berger attended the funeral services in San Antonio.
