Born in Crosswicks he was a lifetime area resident. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Allen retired from the State of New Jersey, Department of Corrections in 1997, he was a member of the Yardville VFW Post 491, and a former member of the Crosswicks Fire Co. Allen was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Stump Jumpers and the NRA.
Son of the late Allen Woodward and Margaret Richardson, he was predeceased by his sister, Iris, and brother, Andrew, and great-nephew, Jason. Allen is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sue; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Lester Robbins, and Jackie and Bruce Patterson; two grandchildren, Christopher and Allen Robbins; a special nephew, Morgan Finlayson and his wife Robin and children, Joshua and Jessica; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Mel Smulzenski and Arlene and John Facey; and a special family friend, Carrie Walchko.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday (Sept 24) at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in North Crosswicks Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and again Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crosswicks United Methodist Church, PO Box 303, Crosswicks, NJ 08515.

Waldo Weaver Bradshaw, 87, died September 18, 2000 at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. He was born in Ellensburg on December 12, 1912 to Barton C. and Vera (Weaver) Bradshaw.

A life-long resident, Waldo was born to a pioneer family. He was an owner/operator of a Washington Cattlemen's Association Century Farm on the westside of Ellensburg. During WWII, Waldo worked in the naval shipyards and logging, then returned to farming, where he retired. He attended Cove School and graduated from Ellensburg High School.

Waldo was a member of the Elks and Moose fraternal lodges, Field and Stream Club, Washington Cattlemen's Association, Grange, Farm Bureau, and served as a Kittitas County weed commissioner for several years. He enjoyed his grandchildren and numerous friends. He was a very active hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marie Herbert and Wanda Gardinier; and brother, Dwight Bradshaw. Waldo is survived by his wife Gloria (Woody) of Ellensburg; daughters Connie (Robert) Dunnington, Pam (Stan) Cozad, and Nancy Bradshaw; son, Bart (Michelle) Bradshaw; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., September 23 at Steward and Williams. A celebration of his life will follow at Bob and Connie Dunnington's, 5900 Weaver Road.

The family suggests memorials be made to the kidney foundation.
