After less tha a week's illness of grippe and complications of advance age, Mrs. Elizabeth White, widow of the late Joseph White, died at her home, 246 Walnut street, aged 77 years, last night.

For more than forty years, Mrs. White, had resided in Bristol, and was well known and highly esteemed by a large circle of friends.

She is survived by four children, Samuel Horace White, of Mt. Airy; Mrs. George King. Mrs. Robert Ross, and James E. White, all of Bristol, and four grandchildren, also a brother, Jonan Calfe,of Erwinna, Pa., and a sister, Mrs. Kate Warman, of Philadelphia.

Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been completed.
